About Talking Cents:
Talking Cents was created by the staff of the nonprofit organization, American Consumer Credit Counseling (ACCC). Not satisfied with providing credit counseling, debt management, and financial education alone, these renegade employees took to the blogosphere in the hopes of helping not only their current clients, but the rest of the world at large to tackle more of the topics affecting people’s everyday financial lives.
Talking Cents is all about finding ways to live a financially healthy life by improving and changing the way we use credit, the way we budget, the way we shop, the way we manage our money altogether.

Hello all, my name is Brian McEwen, @DailySaving, and I found your your site today. I love it! I’m not sure if you followed me today on Twitter, or if I recently followed you, but that’s how we connected (thanks for the #ff BTW). I don’t want to bore you with my background but what you’ve outlined here is a passion of mine. As you see on my blog, I haven’t really found a voice for it. Right now, I’m SAHD doing some writing but also researching National Financial Literacy Standards and thinking of ways to bring good Daily, Practical practices to people… I still feel there is a clear need for it, not sure on the vehicle. Sorry for the ramble. Nice to meet you, would love to keep in touch. Thanks, Brian
